How to apply
Next deadline for receiving applications is February 15, 2010. You have to apply with the according Application Form to our local office (please scroll down to the end of this page for the download).The application form should be completed in English. In case you need further assistance or clarifications in completing the application form you may either consult the document Filling in the Application Form (download at the end of this page) and/or contact our office directly. Application forms should be sent by e-mail and/or by regular mail to our local office Tirana and additional project documentation (CDs, DVDs, catalogues, press-clippings, etc.) by regular mail. Applicants will be notified by e-mail that their project proposal has been received. If the project corresponds to the priority areas and selection criteria of SCP, it will be presented to our National Advisory Board for consideration. The Board decides which projects shall be supported and defines the purpose and the amount of the grant. The applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application in an official letter within 6 weeks from the closing date for applications. An applicant (NGO, institution, individual...) can submit only one project proposal per application period. If the project is refused by the Board, the project can not be submitted in the same form again. The decision of the Board is final and cannot be the subject of a complaint. Approved projects will receive 50% of the allocated grant as an advance payment prior to the project realization. The second part of the grant will be transferred after finalizing the project and after approval of the final narrative and financial reports. The narrative report should present in brief how the project was realized, with emphases on the granted purposes, and documented by specimen copies of publications, CDs, promo material, press clipping, etc. Please ask our office for the standardized form for writing your narrative report. The financial report should provide a clear explanation on how the grant was used, as a final statement of accounts - a list of expenses documented by original invoices. In case the originals cannot be left with SCP local office Tirana, it is necessary to submit them for inspection together with the photocopies.
